No, you do not have to have a checking account to apply for a loan.
Why does an account go dormant (inactive) and what happens?
An account is considered dormant (inactive) when there is no customer-generated activity for a period of 18 months on checking, savings, or money market accounts. A $10 fee per month is charged if the balance is below $100.
Is it better to use a debit card than to write a check?
Here are some advantages to using a debit card:

- Your card is accepted more readily than checks and saves the hassle of carrying cash or your checkbook.

How do I apply for a loan?
No matter the type of loan you are wanting, you will first need to fill out an application. Please call First Kansas Bank and ask to speak with a Loan Officer. They will be happy to sit down with you in person or send you an application.

How do I report my First Kansas Bank Mastercard Debit Card has been lost or stolen?

What do I do if a check is posted to my statement for an amount different than the amount that it was written for?
Although not common, this situation can happen. Simply contact a First Kansas Bank location and they will research the problem and get it corrected as quickly as possible.
What if an electronic amount clears my account that I have not authorized?
If there is a phone number listed with the transaction, you should first try to contact the company directly. If there is not a phone number, you can contact First Kansas Bank to see if more information is available that would help you get in touch with the company. If not, one of our Customer Service Representatives can help you fill out the proper paperwork to dispute the transaction.
I have a foreign ATM transaction fee on my account, but I did not use a foreign ATM. Why am I being charged?
First Kansas Bank has six ATMs that can be used free of charge by First Kansas Bank customers. If you use an ATM that is not owned by the Bank (foreign ATM), there is a Foreign ATM Withdrawal fee of $2.00 per transaction charged by First Kansas Bank. This is in addition to the service charge that the institution who owns the ATM will charge. If you have questions regarding a charge or withdrawal from your account, contact First Kansas Bank as soon as you notice the questionable charge.
I have forgotten my Personal Identification Number (PIN) for my debit card-how do I find out my PIN?
First Kansas Bank does not store your PIN information, therefore, you will need to call 1-844-492-8037 and select option 2 to change your pin.
How long does it take to get my Mastercard Debit Card after I order it?
If you visit a First Kansas Bank location and order a card, you should receive your card in 7-10 business days. We also have the ability to print instant issue debit cards when needed for a fee.
